When you register your boat you state the value of the boat/motor and trailer separately.

Re: Buying New Boat Out of State

Bought mine in AZ they didn’t charge me sales tax. Only issue I had was dealing with the morons at DMV was there for a good hour while four people came up with four different answers for the same issue. But it was all straightened out in the end. One recommendation is that they have you split the am...

This is all you need to buff if you wet sand up to 2000 or just buff what you have using a wool pad. Finish with some sort of wax or sealant.

For punching with a 1 oz weight you want to go with an 805 those rods are not heavy enough especially the 735. Though the 735 is a stellar frog rod

Re: Tow Vehicle: Diesel Vs. Regular Gas

Tune-ups? Those are long gone spark plugs intervals are 100k and they go that long trouble free and no fuel filters most trucks haven’t had those since early 2000’s. Diesels need fuel filters every 15-30k miles. Plus you have the added cost of DEF fluid on top of the fuel for any newer diesel.

Re: Tow Vehicle: Diesel Vs. Regular Gas

If you’re looking at it from an economics standpoint then gas all the way. If you just want the baddest tow rig then get a diesel. Don’t buy a diesel to save on MPG just like a hybrid you will give all that back and then some on the first major repair not to mention the increased initial vehicle cos...
