...Didn't panic and try to pull them apart...Then read the back of the glue bottle and it said get some nail polish remover with acetone in it...Did that and along with warm soapy water, in about ten minutes of working it with a spoon edge, they separated...Bottle wouldn't put out glue and I over sq...

In the 90's, we use to go out and catch mudsuckers for bait...The old man I went with used a double hooked spreader with a half ounce sinker...He always outfished me...You fish one piece of shrimp, and you would do O.K. Use two pieces of shrimp, and all hell broke loose...I knew back then 2 is great...

to sprinkle the powder on the hot weight than dip it into the powder...Slid weight on a spinnerbait wire and then heated it with a lighter...Have also used the gas barbecue to heat the weights, too...Don't like using the oven to cure the jigs, I just used the lighter or barbeque to warm up the weigh...

Swamping was caused not by the wind, but too much weight from gear and equipment in a small aluminum along with 2 guys moving around to shoot a flock of ducks and causing the boat to be swamped by water... They're lucky to be alive...They were in the water for a while too, luckily another hunter saw...

Yeah, I went down to the local Chevron in Pittsburg today...No visible sticker that I could see...Went across the street to the Shell, no sticker visible there either...Checked Chevron's site and it said 70 % of the gas they sell has ethanol in it...

I checked a package of hooks, a swivel, and the one ounce lead sinker...All gave different numbered readings...You definately know when you wand over the 1 ounce sinker through the ear phone headset...Small split shot is next if I can find one...Great to hear from you, Andy... Tunaman is right...These new high sensitive detectors can do a lot...Someone could call White's or Garrett and explain to them what your trying to accomplish...I believe they would be very helpful...They've spent decades experimenting to make the best units possible...Let them tell you if it's feasa...

I see it in the near future...I took a one ounce lead weight out in the backyard just now and threw it on the ground where I had previously waved my White's XLT over the spot with no indication of metal...The detector lit up like the "Jackpot Party" slot machine did up in Jackson last week...

It may have been around 1980 or so when I saw this wavy haired blonde kid over near Holland Cut in a big old bass boat...He looked to be 15 or so from my view...I was diggin' clams and he flew by one of those berms off of Holland Cut...I thought, man, that kid sure is young to be runnin' a big bass ...
