Alex, the St. Croix Legend Extreme, 6'9" medium light, extra fast is by far the best drop shot rod I have ever used, and I have used alot. Do yourself a favor and get it, you won't regret it. If your looking for something a little cheaper try the Legend tournament series drop shot rod, also a v...

I have used all different brands of fluorocarbon, and have settled on the regular P-Line Fluoro. I used Invisx for a long time, but I seem to break off a lot less with the P-Line. Plus it's a pretty good deal, not priced real high and the normal spools are 250 yards instead of the standard 200 yards...

You definately won't be disappointed with the berserk sleeves. I completely took out my rod organizer and strickly use the sleeves, absolutely no problems with rods getting tangled. I have got quite a few buddies to switch over as well and they love em.

Re: heat shrink bait keeper keeps sliding

I'm not sure the size I use, but make sure you heat it up pretty good, and then one small drop of super glue on the top and bottom of the keeper should take care of your problem. Also use the smallest diameter tubing you can get away with...hope it helps
