Very dramatic footage to say the least . I think it might be wise to install one of those loud alternating horns like they use on battleships to warn the crew to don life jackets and prepare for collision / attack . Or you could simply step down off the front deck as suggested . Your call ?

They sell fancy black lights that mount in a boats rub rail these days but the black light I have is made by "Stan Sloan " and used to be the standard years ago . It has an 18" black light tube for fishing and an 18" white fluorescent for tying on baits or lighting up the inside ...

they used to say if you talked softly and nicely to plants it helped them grow better .
Perhaps the painfully loud (terrorist breaking ) music wakeboarders blast from the towers on their boats is what is killing the aquatic vegetation . No spraying would be needed if true .

Nothing is usually plugged into that connector . It is plug in for a factory Mercury EFI tester /analyzer . I believe it should plug to that cap right above it with the nylon wire tie .

If you take the cap off the oil res to verify the float is moving freely and not hanging up you can simply flip it upside down so the float it definitely at the top and turn the key to the "ON" position . If it works 1 beep try it again after flipping over so float down . I have had to cha...

I removed an HDS 8 and LSS1 + SS transducer unit from my last boat about a year ago and have had it on the shelf on my garage .
