If saltwater intrusion reaches Stockton, how long until the saltwater starts contaminating the
ground water supply (well water) in the region? Is this something that could happen? If so, then what?

Look at the transom from inside the hull to check for dry rot and check the floor, mainly in
front of the driver / passenger seats to check for rotten wood. This will only be a problem
on older boats that still have wood in them. Good Luck!!!!

Don't feel bad Derrick, when I fished out of the bass boat most other bass boat folks would wave or at least wave back. When I fish out of the aluminum boat, many bass boaters won't give me the time of day, much less a wave. But there are still some friendly folks on the water, you just have to wave...

San Antonio does NOT have white bass. San Antonio is at about 4% capacity, and yes there is water. More water than you would think. But, LAKE IS CLOSED as of July 1st. The pool of water goes from Harris creek to the dam, and is boatable, just nearly imposable to launch a boat off a trailer as the la...

A ski pole, a prop and a bimini top on many bass boats makes a nice fish and ski. Thats what I did. Only bummer is the three person seating.
Still nice to ski behind as most bass boats have a smaller wake than other boats. Have fun!

Change your cables. The sooner the better. A cable breaking at speed
can be a bad bad thing that can hurt or kill you. It's not that hard to
change your cables on a lot of boats. Good luck.

He has not done very well this last three weeks, only a few small ones.
Forebay has had a lot of traffic on the weekends lately. You might try flukes in the upper lake. Not much help but thats all I know, good luck.

These Mexican pirates are robbing unarmed fishermen. As it is now, there is no deterrent to stop them (like robbing old ladies). Anyone know if there are any schools of stripers in the delta right now?
Any reports or suggestions would be appreciated. I will be fishing this week and might want to chase some stripers for a change-up from the

Thanks for any replys,

I didn't want him to hurt himself (or herself).

I put a coat of Rejex on the boat then just wipe down with a damp towel when i pull out of the water. Some vinigar and water works well on the black motor for the water spots. Rejex has worked great for me as opposed to wax.

Any boat that has a motor (even electric) has to have CF #'s. I used to use a 8' pond boat with an electric motor and the ranger informed me of this more than once. He said that if it was under 16' and was only powered by oars or paddle it was ok not to have CF #s. Good luck, hope that this helps.
