Re: NEW VIDEO “Lake Oroville Drought Conditions in the South Fork Near Enterprise Bridge 631ft 8/28/21 | 4K Footage”

Wow!!! I started my Oroville fishing the Spring of 1970, fishing from the bank in that last big cove to the right before the Enterprise Bridge. I am too old to recall the name of that cove now, but I caught my biggest Oroville LM that year. It was only 5 1/2 pounds but was awfully big to me. I am 80...

They built that wall a few years back during a serious draught and later tore it down. I am sure it would be in the same place which was about halfway between where the West end of False River joins the San Joaquin and Fisherman's Cut.

It seems to me we need that outflow as it keeps the saltwater from intruding inland and also protects a lot of Delta farmland, our fisheries, and other wildlife.

Shasta fishing for 3 1/2 days

Shasta fishing was crazy this year compared to most years . Between my partner and I, we boated 72 bass and one crappie in the 3 1/2 days. Usually we do that many for both of us in one day. Biggest was pushing 2 lbs. The crappie though was 14 1/2 inches and provided more meet and bigger filets than ...

Spawning at Lake shasta

Hi guys! I will be fishing Shasta Monday thru Friday this next week. I would guess that there might be some early spawning going on about now but would most likely guess that the majority of bass are staging and in pre-spawn. Can anyone confirm or deny? Thanks in advance.

Thanks for the help guys! I put together a rig based on Tactical Bassin tutorial and used it today and got absolutely no bites at all. I did use too heavy a jig head on my three hooked baits and will be lightening them up. But I can't say there was any other problem with the set up as no matter what...

Umbrella rigs - a little help please

I bought my first umbrella rig today and plan on trying it at Lake berryessa on Thursday. First, it is my understanding that in California, we can have baits attached with three hooks. There are five snap swivels off the five arms for five baits. What do you put on the other two? Do you rig them on ...

You really don't need a regular bass boat. I got you by about 10 years now. I don't fish tournaments but I used to have a 17 ft Nitro. About 13 years ago, I figured out that it is easier to fall off a bass boat than say a multi-specie boat. I then purchased a 17 ft Fisher, multi specie with built in...
