Hard to beat Boatmasters for this service. They did mine motor runs great. I heard Boatmasters has closed or is closing soon Where did you hear that? I did my quagga online and they never came. Went to dmv and they said they were sent and I had to pay again even though I had receipt of payment. Re: Still have questions about the California Boater Card?
The exceptions to the card make no sense. You don’t need a card if you rent a boat and you don’t need one if there’s someone else in the boat who has one and is supervising you. Why not
let someone drive a rental car with no license or drive your car with no license, as long as you’re in the car.

TW is not a giant company, even though they sell a ton of merchandise. The staff has been cut back due to COVID. They're probably backed up with orders and I'm sure they want to get them out as fast as you want to receive them. 2-3 people can't do everything that a full staff can.

Bridge Bay is closed, as well as most of the hotels/motels in the area. I would call the place you're staying to make sure they're open. The lake is still open, but the parking lots at every ramp are filled every day. I don't expect the lake to stay open very much longer. Too many people right now.

It's ironic that they have a mussel inspection at all, much less one that is as thorough as it is. In case you don't know, Del Valle is filled from the delta, where the mussels originate from the big vessels. The inspection should be like Clear Lake. As long as you have the fee, you're cleared.
