Dang, there must be way too many carp in that lake if it’s so easy to kill that number of them. They’re over-running the bass and other gamefish, that’s for sure. Wow! That’s huge. Lopez and Margie are pumping out some big limits too. I’m anti-FFS personall, but hey just my .02. In the end I think that level of pressure will steadily ruin some fisheries for a while. Looks great now though. Why ban the A-rig but allow FFS? It’s a weird time.

Thanks, yeah it’s all sound - I found something online for this issue, called a hitch clamp. $20- I’m giving it a try. Takes the play out of the receiver.

Hey, anyone out there got a fix for a trailer receiver-hitch that has too much play in it? It’s noisy and kinda loose and irritates the hell out of me when I go over any kind of bumps. Thanks.

I just checked my Yamamoto boxes - none. I think I gave my last couple of bags to another guy here that liked them also. Me, I didn’t care for them - the action was zero. Check out EBay too, hopefully someone’s got a big stash you can score.

Look sorta like those old Skinny Bear jigs.

I use Plano boxes, TW has them. The smaller size is a 3503, which hold maybe 20 blades. The bigger one is called a Hydro Flow 3505 - has a bunch of holes in it for aeration. The website will say it holds up to 72 blades but in reality that’s not the case, unless you’re packing it full of little dink...

Made the mistake of dragging around jigs that got hung up all day in a full lake loaded with underwater brush down to at least 30’. Damn!
