Hey Bass 5851...similar to Larry Hemphill...in a time far far away I use to fish the gravel ponds around Oroville (circa 1973-75)...my cousin and I always caught fish...nothing huge but alot of fish with 3-4lb'ers a big one......of course I'm now 66 ...back in the daze i was in my early to mid 20's....

Mark I ordered in the spring (march ?/) they eventually arrived about 6 weeks later...they are definitely not wood... glide is mediocre, at best.....DO NOT HIT THE DELTA RIP RAP WITH 'EM fins will be destroyed...that having been said one gets what one pays for...lol....my son saw them & suggeste...

My buddies & I were planning our 35th year of house boating/fishing on The Delta when we received a SLAP of Reality... No house boats renting out of Paradise Point this year...due to varying reasons...apparently there aren't any others anymore...soooo now we're looking to rent property at either...

Zealand if you fish Sycamore & Hog give Beaver slough some effort...I've been fishing these three for the last 10 years..

The lures in my plastic box were probably in contact with solid wood or PVC made baits (my own designs) i left them on the deck not thinking the heat generated inside the boxes would cause the lures to do THIS...on my G2 crackers they split along the seam as well as on my savage gear s waver...again...

Hey Delta Rats..I'v got a Ranger 375V (only had it a year or so) running a Motorguide 71lbs thrust motor...it currently has

You might try Beaver Slough...you can access it off of Blossom Road which crosses the slough...to get to blossom I believe you get to it off West Peltier Road from I-5....I see quite a few shore anglers over the years...keep in mind I'm in a boat...google the area to see the roads...Good Luck

Cooch thanks for the suggestion & photo will give it a try on my next lure!! I finished two this past week.... One is the three piece swim bait 7 inches in length ... My version of a Delta Split-tail.... It's a medium fast sinker. The other is a 5 inch blue gill glider
