Turn it off, nobody is that important that it can't wait or be directed to someone else. I fish because it is peaceful and quiet, there's nothing worse than having a chatterbox in the boat.

Go to walmart or target and get the "goody" brand clear latex hair rubber bands, there strong as heck, cheap and you can hardly tell they are on the senko, zero, or whatever stickbait your throwing.

I just went through the same dilemma between a 150 optimax and the 175 pro xs. If you look at mercury website you can compare the two engines through their independent boat tests. Both motors should have the same warranty.

I took, i think 7th WRL last year in Feb. on berryessa, you will catch spotted bass in the narrows, but you won't win a tournament, fish vineyards on the east side of the lake, it warms up first. That's all the details I'm givin up. Fish slowwww with anything that looks like a crawdad.

This had to be one of the best run tournaments I have ever fished. 95 boats and it felt like there was only half that, Randy and his staff are true professionals and definitely know what they are doing. I'm in. I remember growing up around my uncle Larry Newby who fished that circuit way back when. He still has all his trophies covering a wall in his garage. It would be neat to get him out fishin again, but I'll definitely be there.
