Given the precousions above I'd say it would be more likely we all got hit by a bus standing at the launch ramp than any liability being at the hands of National bass. Come on.....

NATIONAL BASS 3/21 cancelled?
Seriously, we are standing outdoors, with one person we will probably be fishing with anyways. Sign up on line or by text. Drop a check or cash in an envelope at the gate. Weigh in one team at a time and leave. Mail the checks to the top teams. Very simple. No reason to cancel entirely. Let's be rea...

Re: Castaic quagga Mussel meeting
The only other 2 water storage facilities down stream from Castaic that I can come up with is the basin we all see to the west of I-5 just south of 5 /14 split and boquet res. Neither a public waterway but I'm sure its a consideration for big money maintenance if infested. Although I believe that wa...

Re: Castaic quagga Mussel meeting
Don't forget that all three lakes share millions of gallons of water on a regular basis . Back and forth from Elderberry to Pyramid to generate electricity and from Elderberry to Castaic to feed the water supply to all of us. Any restrictions back and forth from Pyramid to Castaic is ridiculous. On ...

Re: Castaic cable fell off
They don't fall off. What happens is they get pinched between the strap hook and the eyelet on the boat. They get smashed and cut in the pinch. I have lost three. You have to put a zip tie above the U and pinch point on the eyelet and twist the cable tight to keep it from sliding down into the pinch...
