All the launch ramps are in great shape. Boulder Harbor (old Lake Mead Marina ) is now open again. Callville Bay the new launch ramp is closed. The old one is now open. They get busy in the about 11 AM. Fishing has been good. Be sure to bring lots of fluids as it is getting hot. Vern

Talked to Pat he got home yesterday. He is already out and about. All he knows for sure is that he has to go back in two weeks. He is doing great. He went outy to lunch today he said he needed a non hospital meal. Vern

I just talked to Pat he is getting tired of the Hospital food. He just talked to the Dr. he will have to be in the Hospital 2 or 3 more days. He has to wait until the drainage stops. They want to make sure that his lungs do not have a lot of moister in them he sounds great. Vern

I just got off thr phone with Pat he had his surgery yesterday. Hear is the report that he gave me and Bobby Ellis. The surgery took over seven hours they did not have to give him a transfusion, they also did not have to go into the lungs, and they did not have to break the collar bone. He said that...

Pat will be having major surgery for his cancer December 21 at the UCLA medical center. He will be in the hospital for at least 5 days and will also remain in the area for 5 more days. Talked to Pat he is in great spirits.

Hear is an up date on Pat. He has been hear in Vegas taking test getting ready to go to UCLA for surgery. The hold up has been his insurance is slow approving the test. He seeme to be in great spirits. As soon as he leaves for California I will let every one know. Vern
