Why do people place ads in the classified and then don't respond to inquiries about what they are trying to sell.
I have PMed and e-mailed about a boat for sale in the classifieds that I am very interested in and have had absolutely no response whatsoever.
Any thoughts?

If you buy a new boat you will get a property tax bill from the county the boat is stored in, this bill is usually due each August for boats owned on January 1st of the same year. You might check to see that it is mounted flat. If the mount is twisted or flexed in any way, you can have problems like you're having or sometimes, the locking rod may slide a bit to one side or the other and lock the motor in the down position. Bad news if your limited on time.
