Just doesn't make sense!

Why do people place ads in the classified and then don't respond to inquiries about what they are trying to sell.

I have PMed and e-mailed about a boat for sale in the classifieds that I am very interested in and have had absolutely no response whatsoever.

Any thoughts?

A buddy of mine just came back from a week at Shasta. He told me this morning that Bridgebay is the last ramp thats not mud but only has a foot or so left before it is in the mud too. I have a 7'6" loomis glx flippin stick that is telescoping. I don't recall the number off hand but they don't come any lighter or beefier than this rod. I'll check the number on it tonight when I get home and post it tomorrow.

I have a Honda 500 Foreman for me and a Honda 350 Rancher for wifey up at the ranch. Both are quality machines, but, if I were in the market for a new one, I would get one with power steering, wifeys 350 is small and light so it's easy to drive but the 500 foreman is heavy and will wear on your arms...

With the water so low, I was wondering what you guys are doing to launch your boats. Are there ramps still in use?, How about Packers Bay Ramp?

I'm planning a couple of trips up there before the new year and am looking for suggestions for best launch site.

If you buy a new boat you will get a property tax bill from the county the boat is stored in, this bill is usually due each August for boats owned on January 1st of the same year. I'm not sure about the process if you bought a used boat but there's no doubt the county will catch up to you eventually...

You might check to see that it is mounted flat. If the mount is twisted or flexed in any way, you can have problems like you're having or sometimes, the locking rod may slide a bit to one side or the other and lock the motor in the down position. Bad news if your limited on time.

They are taking the weight for all four days. back seaters will finish today and ten pro's will be fishing tomorrow for th win.

I think runnin and gunnin and timing is the key for most, Jay said he's gettin into the backwaters with an aluminum boat and fishing a jig.

Spots can be caught over a hundred feet deep, how about smallmouths and largemouths, I have typically caught my smallmouth in shallow water when their up to feed and largemouth from shallow to around 40'.

pick a wire that already goes thru, tape another to it and pull it back then tape the original wire and your pressure tube to it and pull it back to the dash.

Yes, I called in this morning and signed up for all four as a Boater, It will be my rookie year with Stren. Also, I've never fished Mead before so I'm pretty apprehensive about that one. Should be good test for me.
