call c&c marine in modesto. i got mine from there. pretty easy to hook up. just tap some wires. not exactly sure what colors you need to tap into since i don't know how your ign is set up. ask the techs over at their shop for advise. they were pretty helpful to me.

correct me if i am wrong, but wouldn't the elites coming to stockton or clear lake be a benifit to county revenue? in this dwindling economy, i would think it would attract spectators from all over norcal and help the cities hosting the events to draw in some much needed income? BASS shouldn't mind ...

i've only been able to recently get an autograph pix of skeet holding up his AOY fish for me and my sis at the Sac ISE show. with his schedule, most of us will probably only get another opportunity for it at the next ISE.

i almost always apologize to people for using my trolling motor during a launch. i have the same problem as Gator where i will spend more time at the ramp trying to get the big motor started than to get to a close by cleat and tie off and hustle back to the truck. if you look at the day 1 on the water pictures, you'll see that they are fishing out of their own boats. edwin evers even mentioned a thanks to B.A.S.S. for allowing them to fish out of their own boats during the weigh in. i'm not sure about the 6 rookies that came from the federation nation champio...

so one of my friends that i met at a local marina about half a year ago decided to take me under his wing and show me the ropes of bassin'. over the months he's been teaching me about techniques, developing patterns, finding fish....etc. when he finally felt i was ready to fish the front of the boat...

Won my first ever turkey shoot out of tracy oasis last night. our bag total was 24.56 for 5 fish (only 4 on the picture, last one was a 2#rat, and we ran out of hands). Be careful, even a pontoon such as you're talking about would have to have a CF # because of the trolling motor, hence the craft would have to be registered like a regular boat. Just my .02.
