Mounting a R&R design eladder

Has anyone mounted the R&R Design Eladder? I have just purchased one and wanted to mount it to my boat. I have a jackplate and the way the bracket is designed on the eladder the bolt holes line up with the bolts holding my motor onto the jack plate. I am not that comfortable with the idea of unb...

Does anyone still have the adaptors for a Humminbird left over when they hooked up their lorance?

Re: 797 no longer finding the bottom

So the 787c worked fine on the front transducer locating the bottom? But not at the Console but the 585 works at both locations? If so you have a connection issue with the 787c and the rear transducer. That's correct. the 787 worked fine up front and the 585 worked on both. Since the interface to t...

Re: 797 no longer finding the bottom

Tested on the water: I pulled the 787C unit from the dash and placed it in the mount in the front of the boat (where I normally have my 585). The unit did not product the same clicking noise and registered the bottom / fish. The same as the 585 does. That made me consider it might be a bad transduce...

797 no longer finding the bottom

In my boat I am running two Humminbird units. A 585 up front and a 787 in the console. My 787 no longer finds the bottom always reporting we are in a depth of 400 - 528 feet. The unit is also producing a loud 'clicking' noise, assuming it is the sounder. While in the drive way: I pulled the 787C uni...

I was thinking of pulling my boat down to Lake New Hogan on Saturday. I understand the freshwater striper fishing there is suppose to be really good during the summer.
Can anyone confirm if it is a good place this time of year or any suggestions on where to fish?

Re: My Engine trims up but slowly sinks back down..

I had a similar problem with my old Mercury. It turned out the valve on my trim pump had loosened up. Once the motor was up it could not maintain the required pressure. So you might see if your trim pump valve is loose or if your trim pump fluid is low.
