Re: Boat storage

Hopefully there are more options than out here in Fremont! One of the largest storage facilities caved and sold their land to develop more high-density housing i'm sure so every place around has a huge waiting list and most don't have water nor electrical hook up just un-covered parking spots or if ...

To add i was able to get a backseat yesterday launched out of B&W and made our way to Wimpys and my boater said he's never seen the water that high it was almost to the very top of the ramp! The RV area was not flooded although he did say it had been recently. The water was def. very muddy (6&qu...

Re: GoPro Power Supply?

Hey Morgan you can find what you need in different ways but you'll need a skeleton case or modify your existing case to allow for power cord and/or external mic adapter to be used (obviously no longer 100% waterproof so just be careful) And depending upon where you want the gopro situated i'd look i...

Experience with boat storage at Russo's or other marinas near Delta?

Well it looks like i may be purchasing my 1st boat and am now looking for a place to store it. Around my area (Fremont) there are very few available storage locations due to one of the larger sites selling their property i guess so if one is available it costs $350+ Russo's offers a good dea...

This was my fault no doubt as i'm currently a non-boater so i had my boxes out on the deck (not in my backpack) and had i taken a few mins to modify the boxes i'd have saved some $$ i think.... I'll be sure to drill out some holes in my boxes to allow so air to dry out the lure as well as let heat o...

Re: Deep Cycle Trolling Batteries

Since i'm logged on (other can correct me if i'm wrong) but when it comes to trolling motor batteries i don't think you should be too concerned about cranking power as that is mainly to turn over the big motor.

First off are you on a 12V or 24V?

that's my old boat, i fished in for 5 year before i sold it to a friend. he's owned it ever since. it went to fast for him that's the reason for the whale tail. i had it doing 68 with a hydra jack plate. very good boat and ran like a scalded rabbit. i got out of tournaments, and moved down to an 18...

Re: Need advice on this boat please!

You will burn more gas than a boat payment would cost you , especially if you run aroun the delta . That whole rigs worth about 2500 max , not putting it down just saying if you like worm fishing you'll have a big can of um . Thanks for the open and honest reply Mike as that's what i'm looking for!...

Re: Need advice on this boat please!

My first boat was an 89 Stratos 201 Pro with the same motor. Great boat, the 200 GT is a great engine however loves to drink gas. This boat you're looking at has a wood transom and deck so be sure to check for dry rot as it's not a cheap repair. Also would have a compression check done on the motor...
