Sun Country Bassmasters Looking for New Members

The Sun Country Bassmasters is looking for new members who are interested in joining a bass club. It is based out of the Inland Empire, and meets once a month (usually the first Tuesday, 7:00 PM) at the Sizzler in Norco. We're especially looking for back-seaters - no boat needed! Whether a novice or...

Pyramid Conditions?

Has anyone been to Pyramid lately? Looking for information on water level, temperature and quality?

Also, I see the PE has operating hours as 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM - are those hours accurate?

Thanks in advance.

Re: Map Chips for GPS

Regarding Map Create - I spoke with Don Iovino and the Lowrance service rep at length at the Bass-A-Thon, and one of the subjects was Map Create 6.x I was using 6.2, and it was somewhat useful. I decided to upgrade to 6.3 and have been very disappointed. First, it is a HUNTING version, even though t...

At the show, Bill S. said you just have to call Spro when they come up missing and the'll send out the replacements, or even repair them for free if necessary. I'm not sure they'd be inclined to send out spares, but it wouldn't hurt to ask. Yuo should be able to get the number from their web site.

They're still working on a hitch for the '06... I"m hoping the CC statement doesn't come until I can win a check, so the wife might be lenient and only castrate me, rather than outright kill me! It was a great event, though, and I really enjoyed the seminars. I was hoping to figure out who a lo...

Hey Brian, while you're over on Kona you MUST take a charter trip if you can... the deep water comes within yards of the beach, and they catch ahi (yellowfin tuna), ono (wahoo), mahi mahi (dorado/dolphinfish) and a plethora of other species within minutes of the harbor. Oh yeah, and the billfish are...

Depends... I think alot of it has to do with how active they are, what with several competing organizations out there. Also, I expect economic factors come into play, especially negative ones. It appears most of the team stuff costs between $250 - $300 with full options, from what I've seen. F...

AWFUL SIGHT

Last Saturday, while pre-fishing DVL, I found a 4# floater by the saddle dam... looked like someone caught it deep and kept it in the well for a while, then finally decided to cut it loose after the point of no return. Now that I have one on my Z, I wouldn't go without one. Anglers did a real good job of installation, and include a spacer that raises it just a bit. It is more comfortable than having it lower than the deck, even when standing on it all day.

Well, hopefully you check it regularly and keep it full... it is the two-stroke oil that is mixed with the gasonline as your engine runs, if I'm not mistaken. It will consume that oil as it needs, so you need to be sure you keep your tank full with the right type of oil for your motor. There should ...
