I think it is possible to enforce an off limits period so I guess I'll have to disagree with this portion of any argument. If it is a tournament rule than everyone should abide as the consequences of being Banned from one or possibly all circuits would certainly make one think twice before purposely...

What I question is what would motivate someone to fish a circuit without a off limits period? I can never fish mid-week so why would I even try to pattern some fish in Feb. when things will be different next week? .... Seig gave me a bottle at the August Nutcase rallye when it was like 105 in the shade and the water was instantly dried into 1 part Alage to 4 parts of bug bits with a hint of sulphur to mellow out the edges to a great big chunk style water spot after the week of fishing hard :wink: Long story short....
