I’ve lived here 16 years. Never had a problem at any of the ramps. If I launch at redbud though I park over by the tackle shop. County park used to have some gas theft issues but county put up cameras. Ramp monitors are around on weekends

Temps have dropped. In the 20s last two nights at my house. Water was 45 yesterday morning. But guys are still catching fish. Things are changing though. Calling for Snow next week

Watched them bring in a big net on a video yesterday. Several carp and only a few Bass. They release the bass but one was belly up.

People netted Clearlake for years. Used to have a big market for Black Fish. There are way more big Catfish eating the Hitch than Bass. Don’t forget the Pelicans and Grebes. Hopefully it’s not to kill the Bass.

Like I said above .There are 2 kinds of permits.Event or Annual.What I heard is May through October 1 event a month.Doesnt effect Annual permits .Water temps dropped into high 60s DFW might have been a little premature about October.
