Re: Who cares.....................
Dam, me and Cooch agree. First time for everything. Done right, this could be a great idea. The north will be easier than the south, maybe. Remember these guys live there and deal with the smaller lakes every day. You will need some advise from them on when and where to fish.

Tony, just noticed YOUR rainbow fish with my name.
That is not playing fair. Now I'm a lot bigger than you, so when I see you near water again and you going swimming, don't cry foul.
I hope to see you soon before the water starts cooling off. How well do you swim?

Some great ideas
I like most all your ideas. Fishing a bunch of different lakes is like it used to be. It makes you a better fisherman. No cherry picking on your home water only is a great idea. Having to fish them all, I really like. It will be hard to avoid conflicts. Two weeks off limits will sure save everyone a...

Cooch, stick to fishing jigs.
:D I agree with a little of your rod expertise but I disagree with a lot of it. As far as the Loomis BCR893, it's a great, very fast action rod. It would not be my first choice as a jig rod, but it could sure do the job. It is a great multi-purpose rod. The $50 replacement on a broken rod is a great...

FLW is giving the West a chance. Those that can fish the events, great. If you can't swing it this year, PLEASE come on out to the weigh- in's anyway. You can support the fishermen and see the fun zones. THIS IS ALSO SHOWING SUPPORT FOR FLW. I'm getting a few calls from Oklahoma, Texas, and a fisher...

Re: If I am a sponsor of tournaments
I think there should be off-limits to make everything equal. Many times I will have the time to prefish for 5 or 6 days. It is an advantage. Can someone find the winning bag with 1 day of practice. Of course. Most of the time the tournament winner has changed his pattern or area during the event. St...

Tournament orgs... Quote "Take care of your customers

Great Idea. How about posting option pools?
One circuit started doing this for about a year at the events and then It faded away. If the fishermen demanded postings, I'm sure paybacks would go up in some of our circuits. Am I saying there has been skimming in the past. HELL YES. I am not pointing fingers at anyone with this. What circuits are...

Participation is the key. Many ways to show support.
A 200 boat field paying 75 places is huge. We normally fish for a 1 in 5 payback. Now we fish for big bucks and get paid to 75th. That's a 1 in 2.6 pay out. FLW keeps stepping up to the plate for the fishermen. FLW OPENS are paying to 100th place this year. I would not be surprised to see them payin...

Bob, What the hell are you doing
playing COW PASTURE POOL. You could of caught 83 bass that day. You should of been fishing. Try rubbing your plastic worms down a little ways into the cast and with the smell on the bait you won't need any attractants. Works for catfish also. You could market this.
