Re: Will it Fit?
Back in 2000 when I ordered a Triton TR19 fitting it in my garage was a big piece of the puzzle. It was between a 19’ Nitro and the Triton. If you look at the way boats are contoured at the transom some bow out like the Nitro and Ranger, while others curve inward making the total package shorter. Wi...

Interesting? I've been catching fish in the delta for the past 30 years on reaction baits from February on. Even during the spawn. Red rattle traps, square bills, 10" power worms . The all work. The longer you fish the delta you will see what works for you. Better off figuring out what the fis...

Thanks for the input guys. We rode in a Ranger Z520 on the lake where we have our Nitro Z18. A world of difference which is what got us to thinking the change. Back in 2000 I was comparing the 19 foot Triton to the 19 foot Nitro and the price difference was not significant. I learned that the biggest $ savings buying Nitro was in 18' or less versions. Keep in mind that Triton was not nearly as popular out west as it is today. Don't get me wrong, I like Nit...

Perhaps the painfully loud (terrorist breaking ) music wakeboarders blast from the towers on their boats is what is killing the aquatic vegetation . No spraying would be needed if true .

I think back in the day, the gear ratio was much more important than now days. If you can find it, sure get a 3.73 but with the horsepower and computers driving the transmissions now, I just don't think it's as important. I'm pulling a 21' Triton with a 5.3 Chevy that only came with 3.42 gearing an...

Re: Truck selection for boat towing
You are smart to move on from the smalerl truck in favor of a full sized truck. Pretty much any 1/2 ton full sized truck will meet your needs. Smaller trucks simply aren't designed to be pulling 18'+ fiberglass boats. Usually the transmissions can't handle it. Way back in the day I towed a 16' Bayli...

Same here started going to them at the small place in Dublin. Started out with a 16 foot tri hull moved up from there. Mike and Drew run a first rate operation they rarely screw up and if they do they stand by their work.
