I use a bit longer leader......probably more like 8-10 feet. I definitely use the Alberto knot. It's a modified Albright, fast to tie, strong as heck!! I use Invisi-Braid 15#.......to a "depending on the situation # flouro leader" There's times I've used 6#, there's times I'll use 7# or 8#...

I'm pretty positive that for the Everstart Series, you have to have no more than a 3 or 4 year old Ranger to be Ranger Cup Qualified as a Pro. As a Co-Angler I think it's a little longer. I believe 5 years or so. This may have changed recently though.
