Algae isn't that bad down south, just stay away from areas that are shallow & still. There are a lot of spots that are quite clear. Jigs & small bait Texas is working now & there's a good blade bite at dusk. I fish at night & if you do as well, PM me!

The old Ferndale resort was bought out by Konocti Vista, ask them if they have room down there. They have their own ramp & it's a short boatride to Konocti Vista. It's is kinda Bates Motelish in a funky sort of way but it was always clean. I used to stay there when I was looking for a house.
