That would be very nice Sapp since it is the vineyard region. I guess they call it the Clear lake region but I thunk it used to be vineyard… maybe that was just WON bass.

It is safe to say those lakes will not be on the schedules! Did anyone making the changes consider that the tournament directors for a 51 boat field would be losing money ? Lets see, run a tournament at a remote destination and lose at least $500 dollars to provide anglers a chance to fish for their...

I agree it really has some natural beauty out there and to see towns that were covered with 100 feet of water would be cool! The open really is a life memory event I hope folks try to make it. Once they go they will want to come back every year. Glad you enjoyed the post. RR

Melonies is tough right now and the dirt ramp (no dock) requires 4x4. I would rather fish Oroville given the conditions I saw last thursday. Like earlier post stated the water is dropping fast and in my opinion looks more like a river than a lake. Have you considered Berryessa? RR

Never an easy decision. I started running Hummingbird on the console and Lowrance up front. It is always an option. As I learn more about each unit my comfort zone in general has expanded. My scenario is the generator/inverter is cable locked to your trailer,you "set it and forget it" with half a tank of fuel (6 hour run time or 12 hour whatever your system requires for a full charge) generator runs out of fuel and shuts down on its own. Noise can be a factor thats why I sug...

After a little digging I got a little freaked out about safety. Anytime you need to brag how much law enforcement and security you have spells trouble. Not meaning any disrespect but I think we are doing pretty good here in Cali with our lakes and the safety aspect. Just a thought! RR
