Why is it always a problem at the West tournaments? It seems like they always have problems with the broad cast when they are here. You'd think they would work all of it out prior to the tournament. Not bashing them, but I was looking forward to watching it. Sure hope they get it ironed out.

This is what FLW did. They had 164 Pro's fish. They were to pay 50 spots for 150 pro's but since they had 14 over a full feild FLW payed 14 places more than 50 to 64. Could be but it doesn't make sense that it would be. They do not put anybody on a waiting list unless they are needed to fill the 150 field. We have fished Strens with over full fields but that was when they were allowing people to pair up and sign up. Sounds like some Co's have an opportunity this...

The Vendetta is also a good rod, it is part of the same line. It is just a bit heavier then the Veritas. Talked to many people that love the Vendetta. You really cant go wrong with any of them, they are all good rods. Just depends on what ya want to spend.

Which one would be the best for a flip/pitch rod? I got some gift cards to use up. The actions and models are the same. The difference is the material and look. The Verdict is gonna be lighter and a tad more sensitive. My suggestion is if you dont mind spending the extra 30-40 $ Id get the Verdict....

The ISE show is going 4 days. There are events every weekend from now through the end of the month. The only way I would end up at the ISE is if Im up that way.

I agree 100% about buying super expensive reels and rods,rather then buying 1 rod & reel combo for 7 or 800$, I would rather buy 3 or 4 for 200 bucks,if that makes any sense. I own 2 of the Abu Garcia Vendetta rods,they are 89$ each and I like them better then the 400 dollar Lamiglas rod I got....
