GMC experts! Steering wheel column groan!
Just to ask if anyone has experienced a steering wheel column groaning noise. It's not the PS pump but the noise is actually coming from the steering column. It may have something to do with the brake booster (vacuum) on the firewall but I don't know for sure. Any help or ideas will be greatly appre...

Don't waste your time or money. Get you a brain dump and sit the exams. The paper cert guys will be flushed out during the first 10 minutes of the interview anyway. The certs just gets you "found" on the job boards. In the meantime, put down you have the MCSE and until you actually have on...

I bought one at Les Schwab and guess what? They ordered the one that takes 50lbs air pressure but received one that said 35lbs of air pressure on the side wall! If it wasn't for the keen eye of that installer, the same thing could have happened to me. So, he sent it back and got the correct one. So,...

I suspect a blown head gasket, since 1 and 3 are on the same side. I'd take a real close look at the parts myself before making that call! Oh yeah, if they do rebuild, make sure you find out what caused the problem, or it will happen again! They need to do more than "think it's the water pump&q...

They are easy. Just keep track of the cable and how's it's hinged/hooked up to the lever. Take the screws out, mind the O-ring and take the old ones out. Snap the new ones in and reverse order to put back together. Don't over tighten the side plate screws and don't keep them too loose or you'll leak...

Yeah, depending on where the line is within the tank, it could be from too low of a fuel level. You can top off the tanks and see if it persists.

I'd fish San Vicente in San Diego. Goto sdfish.com and pull the schedule and info. If that don't appeal to you, try another San Diego lake. Same web site. I'd hit Castaic last and maybe even fish the lower pool if that's still open.

When was the last time you replaced your fuel pumps? You have two and if it has been more than 3 years, then replace them. Replace your fuel filter and O-ring as well. May as well do your fuel bulb too. You can also goto yamahaoutboardparts.com and order your parts there. Spraying that berrymans che...

Try putting some ice around the base. The plastic nylon insert is swollen and this may help it shrink. Careful using that jack as you can start the delaminatin process early! Also, try the twist/pull at the same time method. Other than that, you may need to remove the base plate or just leave the po...
