1. REPLACE the plugs if you haven't done this in the last year. Older motors are notorious for bad plugs. 2. Check the Fuel Bulb to make sure it's hard before you go to start it after making a run. Possibly an old fuel line and it's loosing prime. Check for cracks at the connections and make sure th...

Tho engines don't last forever, you can extend the life by TAKING CARE OF IT !! By this, I mean regular service, use the PROPER oil (forget about Walmart), use the CORRECT gasoline, (NO ethanol) use a fuel additive EACH fuel up (this keeps the pistons clean from carbon build-up which will also burn ...

They are a lot of fun and VERY useful ! Use it to locate what the Bass are relating to just before the Tournament, or for just fun fishing. I've used an Aqua View for a lot of pre fish and it has REALLY helped. Now, I tend to use DownScan mostly but still break out the camera now and then. Wish I'd ...

Re: graph help needed.....badly

99% sure your problem is in the wiring. The newer graph MUST be wired DIRECTLY to the battery. They require 12v constant. That's why when you start the motor it works fine, it's getting 13.5v. ALSO, do install a fuse link inline with the Power wire(red).

Remove the cowling and check the wires to the switch. Sometimes the bouncing across the lake can cause one to loosen. Might not be the problem, but its a great place to start checking !!

How old is it ? It sounds like something is "loose" either a contact or possibly your connection to power. Try moving to a different source. It's always best to connect it to a direct link to the battery rather than to just a 'hot" connection.

I'd get that motor checked out for hrs if possible and also run a compression ck. Change the impeller and new plugs wouldn't hurt either. You do not want to run WOT all the time especially on an older motor. I have a 20' with a 225, tops out at 67 but mostly I run 40-45. You can get a lot out of a 1...
