I have two HDS units and I run them at the same time on both 2D & 3D and never have had a problem. When I jump on the bow I usually put the console unit in standby to save power but I have run them both the same time.

I just used a good outdoor quality carpet from Home Depot or Lowes. I replaced the wood with pressure treated. Then I used an deck adhesive on the board to glue the carpet down. Phils is the best and this is one of the reasons. Every time I am near Redding I stop in. I always get great advice and help. Last trip to Shasta they helped me dial in on some very tough fishing. Some of the gear I already had and the rest I bought from them. Thanks to the entire gang.

Transducer Shield makes them for every application. I got one on my Maxxum. They had me take a couple of quick measurements to verify. The product was very well build.
