same thing every year !... you try to be the 1st team to sign up " or the last team !... get in that 1st flight " sat or sun !.... they always get 100+ boats ! I can't see any one wanting to miss this year ! the bite is way better than last years Record Bee !....

I think the lake record for a one day 7 fish tournament record is 49.86 " that was the old 100% bass circuit !..

If the batts are 4 years old ?... it would be a good time to replace them !... otherwise you can just wait until they get noticly weak on you during your day on the water!... but that may ruin a good days fish'n " if they run out of juice ?....don't forget to take the old ones in with you "...

I am doing something that I should have done a long time ago !... I have a place there ' that my buddy & I have been leasing for the last 3 years" I am changing my vessel registration to Lake Co. !... I hope it will then cost me $20 a year after that ?.....

at this time level is 7.23 dam release at 2590cfs,full is 7.56 Rumsey, hope the place doesn't flood to badly ?.. more rain on the way !....

I had mine recarpeted last year by "Augies Apolstery" in Clear Lake ! he did a phenomenal job ! he is not the fastest around " but he did my Champ 198' took about 3 weeks ' $1800 complete " including all materials ! that's a great price !.... call "Tom" 707-994-7600 mor...

I have been with State Farm for 30 years " my agent tells me tournaments are covered ' "race events" are not covered !...(drags,poker runs, etc.)

Very very few bass last year (,2016,) under 10" ! they were from the 2015 spawn !...

Great spawn in 2015. ! With a great survival rate ! but 2016 I did not see many bass survive past the fry stage ?... with the high water' you would think the survival rate would have been good ?.....

I have always Been told that Shad compete with bass fry ( both plankton feeders), and basically crowd out the bass fry ?...

Do you think a major Shad die off would be a good thing ?. & help the bite " & overall health of the fishery " , the huge amount of Shad this year obviously hurt the spawn !& killed the bite on the south end of the lake' until the Shad were done spawning & moved off the ban...

Has anyone seen a Shad die off yet ?... I remember years ago' when the lake was packed full of Shad ' they had a week of freezing temps " it killed off most of the Shad !... looks like next week might be a cold one !.....

Bass boats are just as bad as skiers !... I have had bass boats pass me "on pad"!, within 20 to 30' feet away !.when I am fishing offshore structure !... they pass close enough " I can see the driver punch a button on his plotter !.... marking a waypoint!... poachers !...

Tournament fishing these days , especially "pro-Am" style tourneys' is way more costly than the 80's & 90's I would fish 2 or 3 of the big circuits back then ! now I can't afford ' or get the time off work to fish even 1 circuit! it sucks ! but it will never be as good as it was in the...

May 31st - June 2nd' I agree ! with Bsapp' the lake just seems to turn into a "zoo" with all the March/April tourneys ! and the post spawn bite has been great the last several years !....

has anyone heard any thing about the " Bob's" tourney ?... sounds like the KVC hotel will be closed thru Sept ?... I am shure the banquet room will still be available !... the Marina & store will be open ".... rooms at nearby motels may be tight ?....the tourney should still be on...

The people that claim weed spraying is not the cause ! are the ones making $$ off it !... I am shure Lake co. board of supervisors ' all the way down to the airboat crews the spray the pellets are lining the pockets with tax $$ " and laughing all the way to the bank !
