Re: Blue Lakes?
I've fished it a few times, as recently as a couple weeks ago. For me, it's been hit or miss. The hard part for me is trying to find a launch that will actually let you launch a boat, they can be a pain in the butt and even then the ramps aren't very accommodating for a 20' bass boat. I come down fr...

Hds 7 gen 2 transducer setting - which one
I have a hds 7 gen 2 with a lss 1 and a through hull transducer. Since it was installed I haven't been very happy with the sonar. Depth only reads sometimes and seems to flash a lot. Not only that but can't remember the last fish that it actually marked. There are about a million transducer settings...

Re: Nitro Z7s
I've fished from a z7 and think it's an awesome setup for the price. I actually bought a z7 sport( the fish and ski version for the family) and am happy with it so far. It's a little longer 19'5" and a lot heavier and I have a 150 pro xs that can run low to mid 50s pretty easily. For the price ...

I have an 01 f250 with a 7.3 and love it. It has 186k and runs great. All components are stock, has over sized tires and a programmer. The 7.3 is great, they made it to early 03. 03 to 07 had the 6.0 and they are garbage. 08 to I believe 11 were 6.4 and those are awesome too. The 5.9 from dodge is a...

I ordered a custom cover from carvercovers.com. I bought a boat from gone fishin marine in Dixon and ordered one at that time, but I'm sure you can order directly through them. Mine fits tight and snug, but didn't like the engine cowling cover as it put small scratches in my cowling. Overall I've be...

I also fished the AC TOC this year and the boat count was about as I expected.
