I like the Dobyns 705CB but unlike Andrews I like the graphite rod for the feel. I agree with most here that the 7 foot rod has many more benifits over shorter rods. You won't be dissapointed with this rod.

Jason_33, Randy seems to have a great understanding of how the bass relate to structure and he's able to pick it apart with those crankbaits. He hasn't done as well in the spring but the fall is his time. He also designed 8 ft. cranking rods for Dobyns and those seem to be helping too.
