Overnight parking safety question

Hi Gang, I want to launch my boat and overnight visit some friends in Discovery Bay. They suggest I leave my truck and trailer overnight at either Orwood or Discovery Marina. I am sort of the paranoid type when it comes to leaving my hardware in an unprotected spot.. Should my stuff be safe? Is one ...

Actually the more I think of it the dumber it sounds and your right. It
would be easier to let some non boater pay for my launch and run

Lets save this for 10 years and see how funny it is then ;) DOH!

NoCAL, You are correct the blood alcohol level is .08 as in a car/boat. However in a boat you can have an open container while under power as long as the captain of the boat is not included. It is my understanding that in a car no one can have an open container ever. This is what the Sheriff confirm...

You can have an open container on a boat as long
as the captain does not have one while piloting.

this still apply?

I am with Chris. I use a leader with nearly all my braid. My

fray and break. I also use a bloodknot. For me they are
are hard to tie but never fail and cast through the guides
nicely.

Oh I know the feeling. If they float they are good
and ready for continued use. If they sink they
are bad and need replacing anyway. At least
that is what I tell myself as another pair of pliers,
glasses or cell phone heads towards the bottom.

Make sure you replace that nut soon. (grin)
