Re: Bass Pro rods and reels
Love the BPS Pro Qualifier baitcast reels. I have about two dozen of them and have been abusing them for over 8 years now without much issue. I used to only use Curado B’s but have pretty muched switched over to Pro Qualifiers. Excellent performance, I wont go so far as to say they’re built as well...

Re: Duck Season: Where to stay away from
Mildred is a popular spot for duck hunting and you will find a few blinds through there. The reality is, it's duck season and ducks like water and there are hunters scattered throughout the delta trying to blend into the surroundings. I am by no means trying to be rude with the following, but I thin...

Re: Delta wind tomorrow??
There’s always places to escape the wind on Delta. Wind should never never be a question for fishing the Delta. Agreed. It’s always fishable, the wind is one thing you can always count on fishing the delta. If you stay away from some of the big water like the main river and franks you can manage it...

Re: BASS cancels 2019 west coast events
Not surprised.
Could this be the beginning of B.A.S.S. ignoring the west completely? With so many events out east, so many different circuits (MLF, Opens, FLW etc), and sponsor commitments, is there ever an opportune time to come west? Not saying it will happen but food for thought.

FLW Costa CA Delta - Looking For Ride
Fishing the FLW Costa event as a co-angler and am looking for a boat ride from the east delta (Korth’s/B&W, etc). Would much rather sleep in my own bed and go by boat then drive the extra 45 min, pay the bridge toll each day or camp. Will contribute whatever it takes, gas, boat wipedown/cleanup,...
Re: Tnt Jigs
I could be wrong and I am sure someone else could tell you for sure, but it was my understanding that Cooch was an integral part of the manufacturing process. I know it was extremely difficult to get your hands on any Wada Jig after he passed. Maybe they haven't found a replacement? Tackle Warehouse...

Re: Sea lions in the Delta
My personal opinion and what I have noticed over the years is that as the water tends to heat up they retreat back out to the cooler/brackish water and return in the fall when the water starts to cool back down.

Re: GoPro Power Supply?
I have found that running a cable to the cigarette plug just creates more unecessary clutter and is just another thing to avoid when maneuvering around the boat. The best way that I have found has been to run the power from an external battery pack using a Skeleton Frame around the GoPro. I currentl...

Re: Delta water temp/clarity w/ recent rains?
Was out today and fished the east delta. Water temps start around 52 and come up to mid 50’s as the sun gets up. Chocolate milk pretty much everywhere. Best water clarity was in whites slough with 3-4 ft of visibility. Side note, Find the grass to get bites, a lot of water is a wasteland due to the ...
