Well Cleb, to clarify, I am not jealous of Matt nor anyone else on this fishing forum. I read this forum to learn. Sometimes I find myself having to pick through B.S. to try and get my finger on the pulse of what really is good. I wasnt trying to get down on Matt nor anyone else. Steve seemed to hit...

By the look of the fish, water level, and lack of sun, looks like that pic was from spring time. You posted another monster a few months back and looks like the same lake. Awesome fish!!!!!!! Seems like some of the big fish hunters hold their pics for a while.......

I used to use the stock ms slammers and stock ac minnows with stock hooks, but they do bend out. I have since changed all of mine to the ST-41s and tho...

Mr Flippinjigs, I wonder. Do you own a house? When the housing market went crazy and real estate was making 20% on your investment in one year, did you get mad at the people buying and selling homes? It is simple economics. Basstrix were selling baits at $6.49 a pack earlier in the year (April/May)....

I think Bob is referring to one of the pics in the photo section. Fish have a hard time living in the livewells when it is like this. If you dont take e...

Re: Leader on braid or no?
I think it has to do with the size of the mono/flouro and braid. If you try 50 lb power pro with 14 lb flouro and super glue it, u are going to break the flouro at or near the connection. If you try 65 lb power pro with 50 flouro and super glue it, you should be fine. I dont think the light line can...

Yup I agree with Rich Thiel and Bassindon. You can't go wrong with the Okumas for 99 bucks. They look and feel great in hand and have enough action to let the rod load up which is key in throwing heavy baits all day long. I just got the 7'11MH and I'm going to get the 7'11H very soon.
