I have the resources to move out of Ca. if i wish to do so. If it gets that bad here but for now I go fishing when I want build my lure when I want sell them to how I want.I'm not restricted by the county I live in so we're good for now.

I don't follow either one but I do look at Bass now and then. And really there nothing you can call a pro circuit to follow here in Ca. Look how long APEX lasted.
Bass is the really only circuit that's ever lasted as long as it has.

Update I'm bring to ranger home next week it's a 1987 395 ranger with a 225 Yamaha Excel it not going to take much to get it running again and back on the water.

Jig fishing takes and enormous amount of Patience's. That I have a lot of and my wife also is very patience when it comes to jig fishing. And she also good at catching fish. I've been net boy more than once with her.

WRB you are correct it does take a certain
Amount of skill to fish jigs. What jigs to use in different types of structure and the time of year to pick right color and the right jigs to use. Jigs are a bait you can fish year around.

And one thing I won't do is bed fishing I don't have too run a bank to know the are already there. I not fishing any tournaments. The fish here in are 2 lakes I like to fishing are hard to figure out where there going to be this time of year even the bigger females. It's not rocket science

I specialize in light line fishing with 4,6,8,10 maxima line. I don't often get broke off I just like the lighter line better feel for when they pick it up. I really like to vertical jig in the winter or dead stick also. If the rod tips heavy then load up on them.

I see whoopbass I hit another nerve but you should leave the jig fishing to the people that know what there doing. I'm sure my wife could school you with no problem. She very good fishing in 5 to 40 feet of water and she a very good structure fisherman also. But then again she learned from the best....
