Well I have two kids a girl 16 next week and a boy who just turned 12, I work for a big poultry company in the central valley and raise about 1 million turkeys a year for them, hence the name Turkeyman. Other than fishing there is my wife and kids and hunting.

Thanks for the kind words. Due to unforeseen issues (like my ability to forget where I leave things) we didn't have a camera with us and there was nobody taking pictures. My son was upset because he wanted a picture of his first bass caught with a baitcaster, and we didn't have the camera.

Also if you go to the lake to pre-fish the pass they will issue you (assuming you pass inspection) will be good for 7 days. When you get to the gate show them your previous pass and they will let you right in.

I saw the show also and the first thing I thought about was a post shadwizard had some time ago where he stated that an angler cannot reel fast enough to mimic a shad trying to escape. It was a good show for sure.

I have noticied when watching tournaments from back east, there doesn't seem to be much difference in the top 10 places with weight. A couple of pounds maybe. But tournaments held in our foothill lakes it always seems to be won by one lucky big fish in someone's bag. Am I missing something?

There is a ramp open on the south shore. It is over by the snack bar. Go past the trout pond and follow the signs through the campground. Haven't had any trouble launching there, the North shore ramp is still open but is narrow.

We were pulled over once in Red Bluff on our way to Klamath, the CHP officer gave us a fix it ticket for a trailer light and said, "Keep it under 62MPH , Even the truckers know that." So that is where I try to keep it when on the road.
