The First Edition got their start on a T.V. show called" Where the action is". I'm soooo old, I was on it when they filmed in Ventura in about 1966.

Hey JIGS:
Use HDPE- cuts and drills very easily. Usually sold in black or white. They even sell it @ West Marine- but I'd use a plastic shop. I use it all the time on boats.

First thing to check is water in the fuel- or if you have a filter as soon as the paper filter media absorbs water it's done. Then check out the "black boxes". Everytime I've had these problems it's been one of these two.

Shallow Areas At Lake Casitas
After a brief talk with my friend who's a ranger at Casitas, it appears that they won't be placing buoys to mark the usual shallow spots quickly emerging at the lake- so be careful not to locate the "reefs" between
your secret spots with your hull or your lower unit.

I agree with all the comments- I started using the Scorpion 1000 as soon as it appeared, and I have 3 50MG's also. They both cast for me better than a spinning reel, and the paint stays on far better than the gold on the ChronarchSF does for me.

I really liked fishing ABA due to the fact they did have an off- limits rule- I thought it made everything pretty fair to everyone- we just pre- fished the week before. I go to the Casitas snack bar regularly whether fishing
or not, but then, in all fairness, I live in ventura, and it's not very far.
