i hope cooch's spawn hunch is correct !!!

i have been struggling to get any limit....went 3 times last week in the poor weather....saw many locked on beds but couldnt get them to bite caught many sub- 10inch fish also got burned out...was going to rest this weekend but if more are coming up between now and may....something to hope for !!! t...

a friend on mine went out on the 6th, sat and caught a 32 and 40inch at the powerlines

i went out on the 7th near pittsburg and caught a 30 and 32 inch.....the32 inch weighed about 15lb. lost another about the same size at the side of the boat and 4 shakers for the day

i did ok on sun.....a 15lb and 18lb and lost one similar size at the side of the boat. 4 other shaker fish for the day and thats it

been doing well on fish from 15-25lbs this year.....badly want to break that 30lb mark !!!

had to have a friend bring an old spare i had lying around at the house...came in handy

i have a 95 20ft nitro and it has a mercury motor cover.....i believe just the cowling detail is different same motor. it has a 200efi on it i was told the efi's were a very reliable engine....only drawback is fuel comsumption vs the opti's i have had mine for 7 years now and no major issue !!! run ...

thanks...i think the modesto c&c is closer to me....same ownership i think thanks for the tip....the cowling was hot to the touch which is an indication that very little or no water flow. i believe you are correct that the check tube can get clogged but the impeller can still be doing its job th...

may not be water.....add a water/fuel seperater filter. if not, it could be carbon build-up and fouled plugs. my merc mechanic recommened yamaha ring free product. merc may now have a similar product works great...i get the symptom at least once a year and add the ring free....takes care of the issu...
