Re: 100% Question. Does anyone remember Pete Keiffer?
His son is really interested in finding out about Pete, who used to fish the Cal. bass circuts. Pete was a cop, and he died of cancer while the boy was young, so his son never got to know his dad. I know Pete was a pioneer in west coast bass fishing, and I was hoping someone here might have some fir...

My friend and his kids found shad, and caught fish. Big fish was a 11.5lb carp his daughter caught.
Many thanks.

Re: Is AutoPilot worth it?
I fished the back seat of a new Champion that had one. It was very good at holding in the wind. It read the depth, and stayed right in place. The boater had a remote clipped to his belt, so he was able to retie and look for baits without losing control. It looked like a great thing if you're fishing...

Cooch, Now, be patient with an old Jewish carpenter. Let me see if I have this right. If you have sospenders on the boat, and you're wearing them, then they count as life preservers. But if you don't have them on, they do not count as life preservers, and you have to have one per boater of the conve...

Anyone know if the shad are still shallow, and where, at Castaic?
My friend is taking his kids out tomorrow, and would like to scoop some to get the kids on fish.

I played second, short, and third through high school. To me, second is the most difficult, athletically. Being able to go to your right and then back against your body to turn the double play is a beach! If Izturis has arthritis, he will surely suffer at second. Short needs more range, and a strong...

I like the frog hook thing! Secondly folks don't worry about the finish as I think the more abused the bait is by some fish the better they work. I don't think that there was an intention to mislead or keep people in the dark. It wouldn't be good business to piss off the people who pay to fish their tournaments.
