Re: Delco Voyager's owners question
YES...there is a problem. If I had to bet..the one with the red in it has sulfied...you are getting a false high voltage and the charger says its ok. How old are your batteries and did you always charge them up right away? Sulfication starts in only a day or two and if you don't get on it...over tim...

Re: Trolling Motor Batteries
Maybe....what are the capacity of your batteries? Couple things to consider... Try to use higher capacity batteries. Your standard leadcell deepcycle batteries have a capacity of about 700-800 amps. The AGMs can be from 750-900 depending on the brand. If you get the BIG Dual Pros, 1200 amps! Keep in...

Re: food for thought
This video is very compelling. Albeit we don't pull quite the same load, BUT, we do travel when it is that hot if not hotter. I have pulled my Lance camper (3500 lbs) and my boat in the heat of the summer from Southern Cal to Oregon. I never had a overheating issue in any way. There is NO reason for...

Re: Ford or Chevy....age old question?
Hi John, Here is my take so far. The Duramax/Allison is a proven combo and has been for years. Ford is now on its 3rd diesel engine in 5 years. The 6.0L I have was plaqued with problems, though mine has been fine. (2003 F350 Dually crew Cab King Ranch with 6L Diesel.) Personally, I really like the c...

Re: Motors breaking off!!?? - Little more info please :)
The comments are interesting....but it seems that blaming the high rollers is not the real answer to why people are breaking off motors. As Ron mentioned, driving slower when those conditions exist seem to prevent this problem? Preventive maintenance seems to be key as this eliminates the chance of ...

Motors breaking off!!??
Hey all,
What's the deal with this year...motors breaking off at the brackets? I have heard so many stories this year.
Since I am not the expert on this, can someone post WHY this problem is happening and what we boaters can/should do to prevent it?
Thanks!

If you work him up one side and I take the other, maybe...just maybe, he will buy a Ranger
