it was a 7 year old transom saver,it cracked in half at the lower unit,it is made out of cast alum. motor hyd. are fine !,I think it was just its time too break !......

broke my transom saver today,on my way up to the local pond,I was wondering if any one has used one of those lock'n stow motor supports ? I have seen them in the BPS catalog,looks like it would be a better way too go,no bungee cords,no scuffing up your lower unit, looks like its a Merc item only tho...

who's up for the biggest team payout in west coast history,I hav'nt heard much buzz about the clear lake "vanity cup" tourny ? any body gonna fish it ?......

any one have a brand they like ?,I have been useing "power pro",for years !,but I tell you what!,I would really like to try something else!power pro,color fades,gets fuzzy,& is noisey going thru the guides,I am useing it mainly for "flippin,punchin & froggin ! .....

I am aware the impact zebra mussels would have on the Colorado river water system,as far as dams,water pumping systems etc. it could be a huge mess!,but! I am curious? how would it impact the fisheries?,lets say on Lake mead alone?any biologist types out there ?.....

I broke off one of the blades of my "shear magic" weed cutter' the other day , & i was curious if any body has got replacement blades?,insted of shelling out another $20 for a new one ! tried e-mailing "Mister Twister" customer service!,but got no reply!......

this event should be a great chance for the team anglers to go "big money",with the FLW at the delta, & the 30 day "offlimits" for the bassmasters,this should be a great tourny for the "working angler" we have our deposit in! see ya there Bob!......bassrman

sorry about that!....I was looking in the 07 master catalog,they only had the next generation guidewear (gortex),& the classic guidewear(dry-plus) I went to there website and saw the reg. guidewear(gore-tex) on sale! got a new set on order! good savings! thanks!..bassrman...

warning!!!!!....the cabela,s classic guidewear on sale....is no longer made with gore-tex !,I was going to order a new set,at the sale price ,it looked like a deal,untill I read the whole ad....oh well!....my 9 year old cabela's guidewear is still hang'n tough !....

I have been useing merc quickclean & chevron gas in my 01 200 opti,since it was new !,I have had no problems at all,runs like new !,you can tell by looking inside your prop hub ! if it is black with carbon soot !,you need too run some quickclean !...bassrman

I just returned home today,after a week of fishing clear lake !it was mostly sight fishing,as it got warmer by the day, and also closer to the full moon!,the whole north end was bed fish city!!,and also fish on beds down south too!,as far as the carp messing up the bass spawm, by doing there own spa...

thank god john cancelled the tourny !(only 8 boats showed)bite was tough!,only got 1 dink!by noon, put er'on the rack and went home!!

any one know were the sign ups are for the NLF tourny ? are they at the konocti casino or north lake ford ?,and when is the deadlne ?...

How about 13 trips to my local lake (20 min. drive) in the last month & a half,and the worst day you have is a 22lb. 2oz. limit !,and the best day is a 36 lb. 11 oz. limit! with several high twenty & low 30 lb. limits in between ,all on a 1/2 oz. blk/blu jig ! & a 1/2 oz. chart/wht. blad...
