Yes they did that to me acouple of years ago with a BASS planner--i believe its against the law to do that and require you to send it back or collections will call you for non-payment, i was pissed and called them and sent it back, and told them to cancel my subscription and dont send that stuff to ...

just another note,ken you said the fuel pump could work harder due to gravity, that may be true-- i was reading on another forum and a mechanic had addressed a problem simalar to this and said on mercury motors to make sure the bulb is pointing upward to the motor he didn't know why but the guy said...

thx for all of the responces guys--heres what i've done and what is happening--i found the idle bolt and upped the idle a bit and runs abit better, it was really chugging before--with cowling off no leaks are found anywhere, at tank, on motor or slip fittings--i usually drain all gas when i know i w...

ken, it is not blowing any smoke--i took off motor end of hose and pumped it about 4 times and bulb got hard unconnected--also how would bad check valve in bulb cause poor idling--X

dan i sold my northwest air today--i play airline stocks by the minute not by the day--the last 4 days the oil spread was 8 bucks to the downside--airlines up 20%--lehman came out this morning and upgraded them and it was off to the races--i had to sell because nobody was watching what oil was doing...

ive been looking at that 177 also--just like my old 79 178v ranger--man i loved that boat--can the 177 be had for 25k out the door--the other option im looking at is drop down 2 yrs and you'll find some 185s or 519s for the same price--gas is gonna bring down these boat prices if ya want a big motor...

i agree, but if the tubes are not blown up part way they will crack on ya--my son bought 2 new 900-20s and both were cracked--they cracked on the inside fold--his vinyl bladder is still good after 8 yrs --xman
