Re: Hydrowave
I think it is very situational and you have to match the sound to the right situation. I have used it and seen no results, at other times I believe it has kept the bite active when it was slowing. I was at Shasta and had been on a topwater bite in a bay during the evening and it started shutting dow...

Actually some two stroke direct injects are allowed even though the locals don't think so. I just carry a copy of this page. It is the approved engines list. My Mercury Optimax is approved.

Re: Alabama Rig Rod ?
When I was shopping for an A-Rig Rod a did a lot of research and finally spent time talking with both Gary and Richard Dobyns. I now use a Dobyn's 795MLSB. The rod loads and casts the bait very well, while not putting nearly as much pressure on your body to throw it. It has a 13" handle, which ...

I have two HDS units and I run them at the same time on both 2D & 3D and never have had a problem. When I jump on the bow I usually put the console unit in standby to save power but I have run them both the same time.

Re: cleaning boat seats???
I respectfully disagree on the simple green and scrub brush. I had problems on some older seats. If you do go that route make sure the simple green is diluted a lot and the brush is a soft bristle. I use a mild solution of Dawn dish soap and a terry rag. The dawn will even get out oil. Then I treat ...

If you also want a few trout try blue and silver cast masters. Use your sonar to find them and then cast letting them determine the retrieve. Last summer for the week I was up there it seemed like they wanted me to burn it.

Wayponts and how they are displayed???
When you create a waypoint you have the choice to display icon, name and icon, or off.
When I put in all my old waypoints I chose name and icon. Is there a way to now change the display detail for all the waypoints. I want to turn off the name to all waypoints and only display the icon.
