I switched from Dish to DTV just for the NFL Sunday ticket last year.....I probably could have went without it with the 3 games in 3 states I went to last year to see my team play though.

They won't let you out on the water at Castaic if its too rough. I cant speak for DVL or Casitas.

I saw Riverside county health or some bs busting one of those guys who sells fruit on the street corners. They had like 4-5 agents inspecting the fruit, searching the vehicle and arresting the guy.

Drop shotting & Jigs

Someone may find a good crank bite, but I would throw a drop shot and jig all day if I were fishing.

We did stick 10 fish together, but only 4 were keepers.

The bad thing about the fish we stuck that were shorts was seeing 2-3 lbers swimming up with the rats we stuck and not being able to get those better fish.

I fished with Larry Marquez on Day 1 and caught 7 fish behind him. Only problem was that 5 of them were shorts!!!

Oh well, the Delta will be awesome in March.

No kidding on Phenix. I needed a quick repair from Ty, I ended up just going to Longfin after MANY months. I even offered to take them up to Big Bear to his place. I'm waiting to see what the new owners are doing with the rods before I jump ship. I'd like to keep fishing Phenix rods if I can.

I think the lack of co-anglers stems from fishing Shasta when it is freezing cold (thats not very attractive to many including myself) and also from Lake Havasu's poor results last year. The fishing was brutal at Havasu and I'm sure a lot of guys are going to skip it because it could be very similar...

Just signed up for 3 as a co-angler. The date of the Columbia River makes it impossible for me to travel and fish or I'd do all 4. We've gotta take advantage of this opportunity while we have it or it might go away.

I'm signing up for 3/4 of the Series and 2/4 of the Strens as a co-angler. I'd do all of the Series if the Columbia River event wasn't during September.

I asked the guy about the hooks as well and whats out in the market is what is available. When I heard they got discontinued, I went out and bought every pack I could find.

I haven't caught one over 10 in about 6 years. The biggest fish I ever hooked, 15+ got away. I had her hooked on a 6" lizard texas rigged. She made a major power run, jumped once, made another run, jumped again and spit the lizard in slow motion. About 6 weeks prior to that I caught an 11.15 lb...
