Fin and Feather or San V
My first choice would be the Fin and Feather which is a private lake in Palmdale. The frog bite is on up there IF you can find someone with a membership. That lake looks like a baby Clear Lake or Delta. There is also a frog bite at San V when the grass grows up. The frog bite at Lake Havasu can be a...

FYI
Sealing the hole doesn't completely stop the air. However, the air goes in the head and out the legs, which is what I want. I don't like having to squeeze the water out of the frog and what I really accomplish is that the frog SITS and LANDS the way that I want it to in the water!!!!! Ultimately all...

Crate a freak of nature
Definitely change the hooks to the gamus, add additional weight inside with either brass shot gun pellets or small split shots, add two worm rattles, silicone the butt so water doesn’t leak in, cut the legs down to 4 or 5 strands, bend the hooks out, and tie the legs with braid so that they flare ...

Just about anything goes with the drop shot and top water ruling, the key is finding the fish. Once you do, it can be VERY rewarding. I would start b...

I received an entry form in the mail about a week or two ago. I would suggest contacting Bonnie in the office.

Payout
All that I can say is that it SUCKED. But most of us are in it for the competition. It cost me about $2,000 to fish the event from So. Cal. EverStart has a much better payout outside of 2 and 3 place. I had a ball and BASS runs a good show.
