What model? Dobyns Fury is a completely deferent rod then a Campion series. Huddleston ROF 5 is diffrent weight then ROF 16. 8" Hudds fish heavy wet and ROF 12 is OK with RF806 is OK the DC 806 is a better choice.

Non lethal aging methods are lateral line scale, dorsal fin spine counting the rings for each year of growth. Both work but not as accurate as Otolith from dead bass.

Washers give you more contact surface area and prevent terminal twisting when tighning.
