Right now I have to manually remove the pin on my trailer for the brakes.
My question is, when I get my truck wired so that it will by pass the trailer brake when in reverse, what do I do with the pin? Do I just leave it in the hole?

Speedometer ???
My speedometer is not working and I know that the little whole on my motor has water rush through their to calculate speed. I looked and it is packed full of wood. My question is, how far can I put a drill bit into that hole? I got a lot of it out, but there is still some in there.
Thanks

Fish Species ???????
OK, I have been fishing Folsom Lake for about 5 years now and this is the first time I caught a fish of this type. The fish had a trout like body, a lateral line that looked a lot like a bass (but very faint), and the mouth reminded me of a redfish (not that I have ever seen one in person). Just cur...

Re: Female Drivers
My wife and I fish together and she backs the trailer all the time. Now she is still a novice and messes up from time to time, but for the most part she does well.
The way I taught her was in an empty parking lot and had her back up in the parking spots. She eventually got the hang of it.

Re: I need some info on Tracker Bass Boat? Thanks
I owned a 185 with a 60 HP and I was always looking at the big boats wanting one, I don't know if this is the case for you. I was very paranoid when I got my glass boat, but that soon wears away. It is really nice getting from Granite Bay to the upper South fork in 15 or less minutes rather than the...

Delta Question
OK, fished the Future Pro event yesterday and came to one area where I could see at least 10 fish swimming around that would take off when I came to them, of course. The area was choked with hydrilla with some open areas. Could I have backed off this area a bit and caught those fish and how would I ...

I was at the book store yesterday with my wife and I decided to see if there were any fishing books. Well they just happened to have a copy of Mike Ike's autobiography which has a little bit of insided information. Well I was really surprised at how much money a traveling pro has to put out from his...

I have actually been considering breaking everything down by lake, etc. Like yourself. Do you have an over abundant number of boxes or do you have some that bleed over into each other?

I was storing all the soft plastics the way you do, but I went back to using the Plano style boxes.
For me I felt less organized with the bags.

Reading my fish finder.
I know how to read it, meaning I know what I am looking at on the screen. However, I get really confused on how to translate it to the water. For instance, if I see a shad ball at the beginning of my screen and I want to target those fish that are feeding on those shad. Do I back off, mentally mark ...

I actually fished the Bassmaster series as a non-boater on Grand Lake, OK and Tablerock Lake in MO. I really didn't like the way it was set up, but that is just me. The non-boater shared the weight with the boater and the non-boater had a limit of 3 fish. However, it was a good way for me to learn t...

Fishing Spots
Fishing tournaments is a lot of fun. I seem to always be able to find fish. However, it is never the right fish (meaning size). I always catch a good size bag during practice, but never when it counts. Should I just be looking for the spots I want to fish and not fishing them? I felt that I had the ...

Re: FPT at Oroville
I don't know what won it, but when I left it was 12# something leading. All I know is that Oroville wears me out. My wife and I had fish on everything we threw. I threw a Vixen almost all day and had 4-5 really good blow ups that would probably have produced a good bag, but they would blow up once a...

Re: Is there any Father Daughter tournaments out on the delt
I am not aware of any father/daughter tournaments, but my daughter is 11 and I fished a tournament with the Folsom Bass League in April. There is a Future Pro Tour tournament coming up in June and August, the entry fee is only 80 bucks. Honestly my daughter got a kick out of being the only girl out ...

Carolina Rod
OK, my new found favorite technique is the Carolina Rig; however, I am having trouble keeping the fish pinned. I am thinking that it could be the rod (because it couldn't be me). I am using the Lamiglas Tournament Frog rod for the Carolina application because it is pretty stiff. Any suggestions on t...
