I believe they are a Johnson Control product. All of the JC batteries are the same construct except the spiral cell Optima's.

I have never seen a dry ARB in a bait caster from the factory. On spinning reels the ARB should not be lubed. Usually an alarm is caused from overheating or low oil in either of the two reservoirs. If you have a smartcraft gauge you can look up the cause of the alarm. If not you need to bring it to a dealer to find out why. Do not use it until you find the cause.

East Penn Deka 27. The Carquest and Orielly batteries are the same. They're made by East Penn. Mine cost about $100 and is working very good.
