Re: Gas for HPDI
The only time I got water in my gas was at chevron. I use ARCO/ampm. I also use marine formula stabile, and seafoam in most every tank.
Most gas comes from the same place.....different companies put different additives in the holding tank.

Yea that sounds right. The vixen just came back last year. So 2009 was the original.
How's the new compare to the original? Not talking about the paycheck brand.

Re: Vixens ?
They were re-released as the vixen by reaction innovations within the past year. Now it looks like they aren't replenishing that stock? There are still some places that have them if you do a google search you can find them.

Yes most defiantly in stock. Its funny how people buy baits just to sell them for a profit. Looks like the supply/demand isn't working in your favor at the moment. I'm sure you be able to make your 80 bucks in a couple weeks.

I will give the KVD's another try based on your advise. The two I had broke so easy I figured it must have been a bad batch or something.

The plate that the graph mounts on the ram mount will be wider then the 7......so you can cut it to size if it bothers you. The larger mount is better in rough water. I'm not fishing the event, but if it does not say in the rules that you can't use a rod over 8' then I wouldn't think twice about it. Seems Like a rule that needs to go away and has in many tourneys. I was in the same dilemma and went with a touch 7. I like that you don't need a structure scan module mounted somewhere in the boat. I also like being able to enter and name waypoints quickly. Typing in the waypoint name on the screen is much easier than scrolling through to find the letters you wan...

Not the most rod specific technique out there if you ask me. A lot of rods will do the trick.
