Re: Jig rod question for the Powell guys...

R.Cook, I have the 705, 704, 735, 764. Of these, I like the 704 and 764 for 3/8 and 1/2 oz jigs. The 704 and 764 are fairly light rods as far as weight is concerned. The 705 gets a little tip heavy, but may be better for 3/4 to 1 oz jigs. For a 7'6" rod, the 764 feels remarkably light. What lin...

Fish N' Map Waterproof Map is a good one. They one where it has Clear Lake on one side and Berryessa on the otherside.

Many of the sponsor stores carry them. They probably have them at local tackle shops.

Re: Clear Lake water level

That's a good point, Bob. They need rain to dump on Clear Lake and all the valleys and mountains that surround it, so that it creates runoff. The years that Clear Lake fills up are years where there are a series of storms that saturate the ground then create overflowing streams. We need a pineapple ...

Re: Clear Lake water level

Clear Lake did not come up much. It rose about 1-3/4" right after the storm but has fallen back to the level prior to the storms. The surrounding area is so dry it soaked up all the potential runoff.

Not sure but this might work for Tacomas, too. This works for the 1st gen. Tundra.

Turn off engine. engage emergency brake 1 click. DRL will stay off as long as the E-Brake is engaged. (1 click won't burn the brakes)
